PICTURE-2: A few seconds after I politely said "on your left", Paul Latshaw (red shirt) begins harassing me by yelling "on your right" which is against bicycling etiquette. After Paul Latshaw's harassment pushed me even more to the left, I sped up to 24 mph to over 28 mph to pass/escape while Latshaw and Bailey worked as a race-team only inches from my rear wheel. Garmin speed data posted on Strava prove my greater average speed kept me safely out of reach of the attackers. Garmin GPS data show I never slowed down and my speed never went below 23 mph until I stopped at Country Club Blvd to avoid a confrontation and to allow the attackers, Kenneth Bailey and Paul Latshaw to ride away.

PICTURE-2a: After first passing then trying to escape the attackers this GoPro video image was recorded 50 feet before I reached the North Citrus Springs Blvd intersection. Because I thought I was well ahead of the attackers I felt safe enough to turn my GoPro video camera off and safely and very slowly crossed the intersection. Garmin speed data posted on Strava confirm I was averaging 21.7 mph when this image was recorded and was several seconds ahead of the attackers while Kenneth Bailey only averaged 19.9 mph to this point because he was in my draft. However, Kenneth Bailey was able to catch me because I safely and very slowly crossed the intersection while Kenneth Bailey blasted through the dangerous intersection at very high speed. At this point in time Paul Latshaw was well behind both of us. However, I decided to stop at the next intersection (Country Club Blvd) to allow the attackers to (hopefully) ride away because I was concerned for my safety and never thought I did anything to make anybody angry. No words were exchanged except in the intersection when I politely said to Kenneth Bailey, "You forgot your friend" because I thought why would anybody leave their "friend" so far behind. My GoPro was not turned on until I reached Country Club Blvd when Paul Latshaw yelled, "I hear you are a Trump supporter", "You piece of American shit", threatened he had a gun and was going to shoot me in the ass.

PICTURE-4: Paul Latshaw yelled “You piece of American shit” while his bike leaned on the signpost.While on the opposite side of the street I laid my bicycle on the grass and walked across Country Club Blvd to identify the unknown attacker (Paul Latshaw), determine the cause of his anger, determine his intentions and if talking would resolve the issue. Instead of talking Latshaw said "You pussy" then yells, "We got a gun, man", "I see you out here all the time" and said he was going to shoot me by yelling "I'm going to put a bullet in your ass" and confirmed his intention to shoot me by saying, "You heard me".

PICTURE-5: GUN THREATS AT COUNTRY CLUB BLVD. After being chased and harassed for 4 minutes and 44 seconds, I stopped on the opposite side of the Country Club Blvd intersection and peacefully waited for Paul Latshaw and Kenneth Bailey to ride away. While I was totally stopped with both feet on the ground Paul Latshaw yelled, "I hear you are a Trump supporter, you asshole" (GoPro turned on). Paul Latshaw continued yelling as he slowly crossed the street. Instead of riding away with Kenneth Bailey, Paul Latshaw dismounted his bike, walked his bike on the grass and leaned his bike on the signpost yelling “You piece of American shit” from across the street. At this point Paul Latshaw appeared he wanted to ambush me if I rode past on my bicycle. While standing on the opposite side of the street I laid my bicycle on the grass and walked across Country Club Blvd to identify the unknown attacker (Paul Latshaw) and determine the cause of his anger. I hoped talking would resolve Latshaw's unreasonable anger or hopefully the situation would resolve itself if Paul Latshaw rode away. However, before I could say anything Paul Latshaw says "You pussy", then yells, "We got a gun, man", "I see you out here all the time", "I'm going to put a bullet in your ass", "You heard me", "We got a gun, man". As proven by GoPro audio, I never said anything that could have trigged Paul Latshaw's threats of gun violence. After escaping that life-threatening situation but not understanding the danger, I traveled 8 miles south.

PICTURE-11: ATTACKERS CIRCLE AROUND TO ATTACK. I turned to take pictures of the unknown attackers and waited for traffic to clear. However, escape was made impossible because Kenneth Bailey while taunting and swearing at me pushes me backward and at the same time circles around to attack from one side while Paul Latshaw quickly dismounts his bike, lays his bike on the grass and rushes me from the other side.

PICTURE-12: TRAPPED BY VEHICULAR TRAFFIC. I was trapped by unusually heavy vehicular traffic (PICTURE-10) at the corner of the Withlacoochee State Trail and West Citrus Springs Blvd in Citrus County, Florida. The attackers (PICTURE-11) caught me at the intersection because I had to stop for vehicular traffic. As I attempted to turn left (PICTURE-12), Kenneth Bailey and Paul Latshaw are behind me about to attack from behind and both sides after being pursued from the Holder intersection. My attempt to turn left was prevented by vehicular traffic that gave the attackers time to take my bicycle and attack me from behind.

PICTURE-13: AMBUSHED FROM BEHIND WHILE TRYING TO ESCAPE. Then, while on my bicycle with one shoe cleated, I tried to find an opportunity to escape. Kenneth Bailey attacked from the right side (pictured above) and Paul Latshaw attacked from the left side just out of view of my GoPro camera.

My GoPro video camera, still mounted on the handlebar, captures Kenneth Bailey and Paul Latshaw as they continued to attack me (pictured) by pushing me off my bicycle as I attempted to escape. Seconds before this image Kenneth Bailey yells, "you're going to get hurt" (proven by GoPro video). Kenneth Bailey grabbed my bicycle by the rear wheel as I held on by the front wheel as we had a tug-of-war for possession of my $5,350 bicycle. Then, Kenneth Bailey and Paul Latshaw stole my bicycle and tossed it to the pavement. A few seconds later Kenneth Bailey forcefully threw my bicycle to the pavement making it "unsafe to ride". This violent attack by Bailey and Latshaw pushed me into the middle of West Citrus Springs Blvd where passing motorists refused to call the police even after seeing me being beaten and kicked in the head while helpless on the ground by two violent individuals. One motorist, a resident of Citrus Springs in Citrus County Florida yelled to me, "Go ahead and get out of the road" (proven by GoPro video) even after seeing me beaten to the point of unconsciousness. I took refuge in the middle of West Citrus Springs Blvd to escape the vicious Latshaw and Bailey attack only a few hundred yards from a local elementary school. Not one of several passing motorists stopped to help or to contact the police even after seeing me bleeding and injured. Citrus County, Florida is a lawless place and a true HELL HOLE.

GOPRO CAMERA RIPPED OFF BY PAUL LATSHAW ROLLS INTO THE GRASS

PICTURE-21: PAUL LATSHAW PARTICIPATES IN ATTACK. Paul Latshaw (red shirt) contrary to the biased CCSO criminal report clearly seen participating during the attack at the corner of the Withlacoochee State Trail and West Citrus Springs Blvd, grabs my bicycle and drags it on the ground, scratching the frame of my $5,350 bike. These images are displayed in their natural sequence. The GoPro video images (PICTURE-10 TO PICTURE-21) recorded during the attack indicates the CCSO was incompetent or biased when they dismissed important GoPro video and physical evidence proving Latshaw and Bailey attacked John Cipolla. Paul Latshaw was so emboldened by the CCSO's dismissal of this GoPro video and physical evidence that a permanent injunction against Paul Latshaw was required to protect John Cipolla and his wife from repeated threats of violence and stalking six months after the attack.

PICTURE-22: Immediately after PICTURE-21 is recorded, John Cipolla's bicycle nearly settles on the pavement after being tossed like a piece of garbage by Paul Latshaw. This GoPro image clearly shows Paul Latshaw's bicycle on the left and Kenneth Bailey's bicycle on the right while they both attacked John Cipolla. This series of images from the GoPro video proves conclusively that Paul Latshaw was off his bike during the attack and worked with Kenneth Bailey to beat John Cipolla and vandalize his property.

BICYCLE VANDALIZED AFTER BEING CHASED, AMBUSHED AND BEATEN. The CCSO investigator, Detective James "Jimmy" West never mentioned in his criminal report that Kenneth Bailey forcefully threw John Cipolla's bicycle to the pavement making the bike "unsafe to ride". In addition, the CCSO ignored GoPro video evidence of vandalism and on multiple occasions refused to correct the following false statement in the criminal report. The following statement in the criminal report is a bold-face lie.

"The Defendant (Kenneth Bailey) picks up his own
bike and throws it onto the ground"

 
PICTURE-23 AND PICTURE-24: High resolution GoPro video captured Kenneth Bailey seen wearing the green Brick City Bicycles kit throwing John Cipolla's bike to the pavement, making it "unsafe to ride". GoPro Video proved Kenneth "Ken" Bailey guilty of  vandalism. The extreme violence of the Bailey-Latshaw attack ripped John Cipolla's GoPro video camera off his bicycle and was hidden in the grass where it recorded Ken Bailey throwing John Cipolla's bicycle to the pavement as Paul Latshaw wearing the red shirt looks on.

SPECIAL NOTES ABOUT KENNETH "KEN" BAILEY

Kenneth Bailey told the judge while under oath the following bold-faced lie that proved Kenneth Bailey and Paul Latshaw lied about attacking John Cipolla and vandalizing his property. Kenneth Bailey lied when he stated to the judge while under oath.

"The bike got between us during the fight"

However, Kenneth Bailey had no comeback when the Florida State Attorney countered Kenneth Bailey's bold-faced lie when the Florida State attorney told the judge the following fact proved by GoPro video that was previously dismissed and totally ignored by the CCSO investigator, Detective James "Jimmy" West.

PICTURE-25: This GoPro image shows Paul Latshaw and Kenneth Bailey picking up their bikes after they attack John Cipolla. The CCSO totally mischaracterized the attack by commenting in their biased report the violence against John Cipolla was a "physical altercation" with only one other individual. However, GoPro video proves that while trying to escape, John Cipolla was ambushed from behind by two violent individuals. Further, the dent pattern on John Cipolla's helmet proves that John Cipolla was kicked in the head and beaten while lying helpless on the ground. CCSO dismissal of GoPro video evidence and physical evidence demonstrates extreme bias. As a result of a biased investigation, Kenneth Bailey was only charged with vandalism for damaging a bicycle and denting a helmet by repeated kicks to the victim's head while Paul Latshaw was not charged with any crime. Neither individual was charged for attacking John Cipolla in Citrus County, Florida.

Only a few days after starting his totally biased criminal investigation, Citrus County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) investigator, Detective James "Jimmy" West refused to receive any clarification of John Cipolla's GoPro video sequence of events and physical evidence (dented helmet) and yelled.

GARMIN MAP OF THE ATTACK: Three GoPro videos, related images and detailed descriptions of the Bailey-Latshaw attack were totally dismissed by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office in their biased investigation. Video 1, Video 2 and Video 3 were recorded when I was in danger and trying to escape separated by several miles and several minutes between videos when I thought I was safe from attack. In this map from "Start", I traveled north to the north end of the Trail. Then, I traveled south, passed the attackers (Video 1) and stopped at Country Club Blvd to avoid a confrontation (Video 2). After escaping Paul Latshaw's gun threats at Country Club Blvd (Video 2), I traveled south. However, I ended my bicycle ride early and traveled north where I was attacked again after passing the Holder intersection (Video 3) by Kenneth Bailey and Paul Latshaw who were bicycling in the opposite direction. Soon after passing the Holder intersection it was clear I was being hunted by Bailey and Latshaw then attacked again (Video 3) at West Citrus Springs Blvd.
